Lauren Gallegos Opens Her First Solo Illustration Show

Lauren Gallegos, who graduated with a BFA in Illustration, is announcing her first solo art show, "Digging for Aesthetics." Her art will appear in the Chapman Atrium in the Titan Student Union at Cal State Fullerton. The opening will take place from 12:30 to 4:30pm on Sunday January 23rd, and Gallegos will be there to meet visitors and to sell some of her artworks. The gorgeous announcements reflect the high quality picture book art that Gallegos has kept on producing since she graduated. She's finishing art for a book titled The Mahogany Door. Many of her illustrations depict cute and funny animals as heroes, and this show seems to have more of these humorous and poetic depictions.
